There’s a story with everything whether its told or not, from moment a deer watches the first snow fall, the love story of a beautiful passionate couple, a growing family, a community or a small business owner.
Everyone has a unique and authentic experience to be told.
I always love hearing those stories, to see that smile and sparkle in their eye when their story is being told, its simply beautiful.
That’s what I strive to capture.
More than a Photo.
There’s so much more to a simple photo.
Its everything behind that photo. That marks a time in your life that you don’t want to miss.
Being able to go back to that photo and remembering those little moments, makes it so vivid, so close yet so far.
You never know how much a moment may mean until it has passed.
Adventure
I always loved to travel and seeing the animals (I am an animal lover) all over the world.
Its always an amazing moment to see the world and what it has to offer, whether it’s a herd of elk galloping the grassy plains or seeing the endless views from the Rockies to the Maritimes.
Moments like that only happen once, with an adventure to go with it. That is what I want to share with you.
My Story
Now that you know about my passion for photography, let me tell you a little about myself.
I’m from the quiet country prairies of Alberta, consisting of small farming communities and small towns west of Edmonton. When asked this question I often say the middle of no where Alberta since its common for not many to know the name of the closest populated town.
I grew up into a large loving family and a tight knit community, where we watched out for each other.
With fond memories of adventure back in Alberta, from running through the fields and forests and going on amazing family trips to southern BC, various places throughout Alberta, the States and Europe.
Until a few years ago I started my own adventure in 2018 when I joined the Military where I met my spouse, in a camp on a rainy day. It wasn’t long until we were posted to Petawawa in 2019, and we have been together ever since. Making our own story wherever we go. Being sure to take photos and remember the precious moments, even if he’s camera shy. (Your handsome to me)
With a dream is to one day make photography a full-time job.
